WorldAviationWX is a quick and very easy source for weather around the world. You dont need to be an aviation professional to use this application. The app is designed for use by travelers, pilots, dispatchers, aviation enthusiasts, and anyone interested in a detailed weather information. The app contains a database of nearly 7,000 airports and weather reporting sites located throughout the world. In just two finger taps, the user is provided current weather and forecast information for all major airports in 192 countries. WorldAviationWX uses real time aviation weather data available through public sources. Most importantly, the app decodes the weather information into a easy-to-read format, which can be used by anyone.

WorldAviationWX is quick and easy to use. Theres no need for the user to remember a 4-letter ICAO identifier for a location or look up a location. Airports are organized by country, thereby making it very easy to find the right location. Two taps is all it takes-- tap on the country, then tap on the airport!

WorldAviationWX decodes the current aviation weather (METAR) and forecast (TAF) into easy-to-understand terms. Forecasts are displayed with graphical timelines, making it very easy to visualize the forecast periods. One press of a button, and historical weather (for the past 24 hours) is displayed. This is useful for spotting trends.

The app has other important features. With one finger tap, the user is able to see the Google map view of the airport. Personal notes can also be stored for each airport.

WorldAviationWX is a robust weather app which was designed and tested by pilots and weather enthusiasts. Although the app cant be used as an official aviation weather briefing tool, it provides an excellent way for spotting weather problems and trends.

This app is a must for pilots and/or globe trotters. In seconds, this app will display weather anywhere in the world. The interface is simple and elegant. It even has a place for "notes" in each individual city. Its a steal at this price.

Great application, full of features highly useful for pilots of all categories, student to professional. Friendly user interface, with a nice breakdown of the TAF time frames and links to Google Maps and email capability. The FAVORITES section is a great time saving feature. This program provides great value to anyone who needs to have weather around the worlds airports at their fingertips.

Excellent weather application for anyone affilliated with aviation. Always up to date, accurate and incredibly convenient at the touch or a button for anywhere in the world. One of the best apps for worldwide aviation weather available, bar none!

Excellent. Provides even faster updates than the Dispatcher can!

The app will cache wx for every airport in the database so the information can be accessed in airplane mode. The "favorites" feature allows you to quickly access airports on a list you create. I use this feature for hubs and airports that are specific to my current trip making this app a true must have for the International and Domestic Pilot.

Some bad moments

No real forecast to speak of and unless you plan on getting your pilots license you should save your money. In addition it is not formatted to fit iPhone 6 Plus. Really? The text was running off the right side of the screen, maybe I need a tv to read it. Waste of money, about to delete this app and watch my $3.99 blow into the wind.
